JNBIT follows the authorship recommendations of ICMJE and COPE. Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, drafting, or critical revision of the manuscript. All authors must approve the final version and agree to be accountable for the published work.
Individuals who contributed to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all eligible contributors are listed as authors and that no deserving contributor is omitted.
Any request to add, remove, or reorder authors after submission or publication must be supported by written consent from all authors and will be considered in accordance with COPE and ICMJE guidelines.
